Erin standing at the Sidney waterfront, next to the Fish Market building on the pier

I am a mom of two neurodiverse children, a wife and an employee of BC's Ministry of Attorney General. Family life and my professional work have taught me how to manage competing priorities, build strong support systems and find practical solutions when no answer is perfect.

My family moved to Sidney in 2016 and has called the Saanich Peninsula home ever since. While North Saanich is currently home, Sidney is the community I feel most connected to. It's where we shop, access services, enjoy the waterfront and spend time with friends.

My professional work has strengthened my skills in research, analysis, communication and collaborative problem-solving. I regularly work through complex information and identify the most important questions. I consider different perspectives and move projects to completion.

In my personal life, I have learned that good solutions begin with understanding how a decision affects different people. I have built a support system of educators, caregivers and health-care providers. That experience has shown me how much people can accomplish when they are supported, included and heard.
